Knowing what dozers to bid on
With top names like Fiat Allis, Komatsu, and John Deere available at auction, Yoder & Frey are making it easier to bid for different dozer types. Some of the most common you’ll see at our auctions include crawlers with EROPs, OROPs, buckets etc.
Some items will have extras like rear view cameras and range from 4 to 8-way blades. Make sure you compare different models to see what works best for your needs.
Knowing what motor graders to bid on
As you’ll know, graders are better suited for those projects where more detail is necessary on the job (e.g., road or pavement construction). That means blades need to be more precise and offer better levelling for the job. With graders at auctions, including some exceptional biddable items from Rome, Bomag, Terex and more, Yoder & Frey members bid quite competitively on motor graders.
What is the main difference between dozers and motor graders?
Dozers are made for pushing and moving large amounts of earth and dirt, while Motor Graders are for grading and levelling surfaces.
